Idan Ben-Yacov

Idan Ben-Yacov specializes in all aspects of commercial law, with a focus on high tech – securing investments by venture capital funds and angels, setting up companies, guiding start-ups at various stages, investments, founders’ agreements, intellectual property protection, representation of entrepreneurs, due diligence, drafting a wide range of agreements (licensing, confidentiality, commercialization, etc.), mergers and acquisitions and more. Idan also has significant expertise in real estate law, including planning and construction proceedings, sales and purchase transactions, commercial real estate, acquisition groups, combination and sharing transactions, guidance on projects, and more.

Idan performed his legal internship with Gross, Kleinhendler, Hodak, Halevy, Greenberg, Shenhav & Co. (GKH), acquiring expertise in high tech, venture capital funds and international transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.

He gained experience working with the Chinese market while working for GWC Inc. in Beijing, where he was responsible for relationships with Israeli high-tech companies and start-ups and having them penetrate the Chinese market. He was also responsible for establishing the first Israeli extension of the Global Media Internet Conference  (GMIC). The main event for this conference takes place once a year in Asia, where he handled the activity of Israel start-ups in China. Furthermore, he worked as a project manager with Zhicheng Public Interest Law Firm.

Along with his work as a lawyer and business consultant, he currently serves as a member of the following Israel Bar Association committees:
